What is a
Pattern (Tul)?
A
pattern (tul) is a set of basic defence and attack movements, set in a
logical sequence to deal with one or more imaginary
opponents. Patterns are an indication of a students
progress and
are practiced to:

Improve Tae Kwon-Do techniques,
-
Develop
sparring techniques
-
Improve flexibility of
movement
-
Master body
shifting
-
Develop muscle, balance and breath control.
