Two Step Sparring (Ibo Matsoki)

Two step sparring differs greatly from three step. It is designed for the intermediate student to learn more advanced techniques, still using the same timing and distancing as in three step sparring. However unlike three step, the defender is faced with more varied attacks, both hand and kick techniques allowing the attacking student to develop various combinations.

The Attacker : Start in right L stance, forearm guarding block.

The Defender : Start in parallel ready stance.
